Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Missoula, Montana. This position has multiple openings and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with various shifts to accommodate different schedules. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, utilizing specialized equipment to capture high-quality images.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education/Training: Graduation from an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE), or equivalent education and experience.
Certification: Upon hire, must hold National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or be a National Registered Technologist - Sonography (R.T.(S)) .
Licensure: Upon hire, must possess a National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred:
Two (2) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
