Surge Tech Mullica Overview: This position is responsible for assisting with surgical procedures in the Operating Room for which she/he has been prepared within the scope of law. This position will function as an integral part of the nursing team in working with RN in caring for patients; and is self-directive providing sub-acute care or performing routine activities. Experience Requirement Experience with large number of total joints and minimally invasive spine like ACDF, posterior lumbar.?Ability to scrub multiple service lines- ortho and neuro primary. Min 2 years of Surg Tech experience Contract Details: Scrub Requirement: The hospital provides scrubs. Contract Length: 13 weeks RTO: no more than 3 days On call requirement: Call schedules for ST are 24 HR requirement (Fri PM 8p-7a, Sun 7a-7p) or one Sat 7a-7a Education & Certification: AHA BLS CST Verification High School Diploma or equivalent First Day Instructions? /Orientation: Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination- once scheduled, candidate does not have the option of rescheduling any classes. Candidate will receive an email directly from Inspira the Friday before the Monday start. The email will contain the following information; They will receive instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream Module from Human Resources sometime prior to 8:30 on Monday. Monday GEO will be Virtual from their own computer. The modules assigned must be completed by Monday or they will be removed from the orientation list. In person class schedule list- Typically Tues-Thurs- these classes are held in multiple locations. The location may not be listed in the original email, candidate is required to use Health Stream to determine class location day of. Please Note *The POCT class will required to attend and is not during orientation week. Unit based orientation schedule from manager. Badge ID Link- instructions on how to make an appointment t o receive their ID badge in person. Photo submissions are not permitted. Must be complete during orientation. The Badge is required for clock ins.
