Assist Sr Financial Analyst with accounts payable and basic analytics.

We are looking for a currently enrolled UI student with strong organizational and communication skills.

The successful candidate will also have strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.

What Success Looks Like:

• Enter Accounts Payable and research problems.

• Verify data by comparing it to source documents

• Create and manage spreadsheets for monthly financial reporting

• Communicate and present reports and perform in-depth analysis, including recommendations for improvements in business processes and efficiencies

What You Need:

• In pursuit of BS or MS degree in a technical field (Finance/Business, Accounting, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, etc.)

• Understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including superior Microsoft Excel experience

• Organized and self-motivated, ability to prioritize time-sensitive initiatives

• Innovative and agile

• Detail-oriented

• Problem-solving skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to be flexible.

Twenty (20) hours per week between 8-5 pm, M-F, at the HSSB building, Coralville, IA.
