The West YMCA is looking for an energetic, change minded leader to lead all aspects of our Programs Department. This position oversees all areas of sports and child enrichment programs for assigned location(s). This position will provides engaging and age-appropriate activities for young children, fostering creativity, learning, and skill development. This position develops, organizes and implements high quality YMCA program(s) in accordance with the YMCA mission, strategic plan, goals and all policies and procedures of the YMCA of Dane County, Inc. and the YUSA Best Practices.

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Familiar with the Madison and greater Dane County market.
• Have previous supervisory experience, in athletic or sports administration preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Well developed time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Passion for excellent customer service.
• 5+ years experience preferred.
• Required to work nights and weekends as programs need.
