Job Description

GS Admin Clerk Location Dallas, TX (Downtown area) :

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Performs administrative functions to the department and Guest Services Management Team to ensure operational success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Must have excellent computer, phone and communication skills
  • Monitors and responds to all Feedback via the website or app during non-event hours
  • Answers multiple phone lines, provides correct information or directs phone calls to the appropriate department; follows up when necessary
  • Re-directs feedbacks, calls and/or emails as appropriate
  • Stays up to date with event information and FAQs from other departments
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing and copying
  • Works with Guest Services Mangers on special projects
  • Assists with other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma or equivalence (GED) required
  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a professional environment and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively on written, on the phone and in person
  • Possess an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the internet
  • Ability to operate a variety of office machines
  • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and take directions from more than one person at a time
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, use of hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, sit for extended periods of time and climb stairs
  • Position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
