Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Clinic
Location: Tobaccoville, NC
Duration: 7-Month Contract
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Job Overview: A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support an on-site ambulatory clinic in Tobaccoville . This role focuses on preventive health, wellness coaching, and clinical services for employees in a workplace setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one health coaching sessions to support lifestyle improvements and chronic disease prevention.
Administer flu shots in accordance with clinical guidelines and safety standards.
Perform biometric screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, BMI, etc.).
Encourage use of primary care and other preventive health resources.
Accurately document clinical interactions while maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
Educate employees on general wellness and preventive care practices.
Collaborate with both on-site and remote healthcare professionals as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
2–3 years of relevant nursing experience, ideally in primary care, occupational health, or wellness.
Proficiency in administering immunizations and conducting biometric assessments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Competency with basic computer applications for documentation and scheduling.
