Pest Control Technician (driver's license required)
What is this role about?
Like working outdoors and helping people? Located in Saco Maine, Green Shield Pest Solutions, Maine's only 5-star rated pest control company, is hiring technicians for York, Androscoggin, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Oxford, and Kennebec counties.
What will my average day look like?
Each morning you will be given a route and be equipped with a company vehicle, where you will be servicing the exterior (and sometimes interior) of our residential and commercial customers. You will identify pest issues, follow safety procedures, and apply pesticides when applicable to stop bugs and rodents from potential entry. You will meet customer needs professionally while offering solutions to problems.
What skills are required?
· High school diploma or equivalent, good driving record, and a valid driver’s license.
· Must pass (or have) three applicator license exams – Core, 7A, and 7E. Extensive training provided to help.
· Pest control experience - preferred but not required.
· You are personable and able to communicate clearly with customers.
· You can perform basic math related to applying proper pesticide formulations.
· You can keep a clean appearance and be organized. You are detailed-oriented and understand the importance of safety.
