Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple General Cardiologists to support the Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY. 13210. Multiple shift schedules are available. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Competitive full-time and PRN pay packages are available to qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite cardiology services, covering all aspects of cardiology care in alignment with national standards.
• Deliver consulting and attending services, ensuring supervision of residents and interns.
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage on weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Conduct timely consults and communicate test results per VA guidelines.
• Administer medications following VA protocols, excluding sample medications.
• Provide discharge education and coordinate follow-up care with other settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement meetings and submit required reports.
• Supervise health profession trainees and ensure their education meets VA standards.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, or be board-eligible.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the Unites States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
