Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Utilize SolidWorks to engineer and 3D model innovative product designs, ensuring they meet high standards and engineering specifications.
As a Design Engineer, you will set the benchmark for material selection and construction techniques, aiming for excellence in design and manufacturability.
Work closely with the detailing team to ensure designs are ready for production, embodying commitment to quality and efficiency.
Own your projects from concept through to production, building strong relationships with manufacturing teams to discuss and implement design improvements.
The role of Design Engineer challenges you to continuously innovate, optimizing design processes and product functionality.
Design Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or combination of relevant certifications and experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software; SolidWorks Professional Certification (CSWA or CSWP) preferred.
Solid foundation in engineering principles, material science, and product construction.
Excellent project management and communication skills, essential for collaboration across teams.
