Conflicts Analyst/Manager
Our client, a leading National Law Firm, is actively seeking a Conflicts Analyst or a Conflicts Manager to support their growing practice in either Washington DC, San Francisco, or New York City.
Location: Remote but must be located near NYC, SF or Washington D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Due Diligence: Perform in-depth research on prospective clients and corporate affiliates to identify potential legal, ethical, or commercial conflicts of interest.
- Database Stewardship: Oversee the integrity and maintenance of the firm’s conflicts database, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily searchable.
- Risk Mitigation & Ethical Walling: Design and implement robust information barriers ("ethical walls") to protect client confidentiality and monitor firm-wide compliance with these protocols.
- Internal Advisory: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing timely and accurate guidance to attorneys and staff on complex conflicts inquiries and firm policies.
- Attorney Onboarding: Lead the integration of new legal hires by providing comprehensive briefings on Hausfeld’s conflicts systems, search protocols, and ethical standards.
- Systems Innovation: Proactively evaluate and recommend emerging legal technology and software solutions to automate workflows and enhance the speed of the conflicts clearance process.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in Conflicts Analysis
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with Intapp software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
