Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Duration: 24 week position
Location: Kearney, NE
Shift:- Days
REQUIREMENT: CMA certificate, BLS
Job Duties:
- Perform front and back-office duties including patient check-in/out and appointment scheduling
- Room patients and record vital signs accurately
- Conduct phlebotomy and EKG procedures
- Perform point-of-care (POC) testing
- Assist with patient documentation and clinical support
- Collect fees and handle payment processing
- Ensure proper patient flow and assist providers as needed
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms
- Adhere to clinic policies and maintain patient confidentiality
- Note: This position does not participate in HomeMed services
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Registered Medication Aide highly preferred
- BLS or CPR certification (or ability to start pending Marathon approval)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical/front-desk experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and EHR
