Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Safety Manager:

As a Transportation Safety Manager , you will:

• Oversee and enforce driver and fleet safety protocols across designated zTrip locations
• Conduct regular safety audits, vehicle inspections, and compliance reviews
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of certifications, background checks, and drug testing
• Investigate vehicle incidents and accidents, and support development of corrective action plans
• Stay current on local, state, and federal transportation laws and safety regulations
• Collaborate with local operations teams to ensure consistency in safety practices
• Assist in developing and delivering effective driver safety and compliance training
• Communicate professionally with drivers, management, and regulatory agencies
