JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for preforming general accounting functions such as daily deposit, payables, patient refunds, W-9 requests, and Credit Applications.
Work location: Ridgeland, MS in person.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of general accounting experience, including general ledger, payables, and receivables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with daily mail and prepare checks for the daily deposit.
• Process and review invoices for accuracy.
• Match invoices with PO’s/shipping documents and code accordingly.
• Maintain account payable files and records
• Resolve vendor issues/inquires.
• Process weekly check runs.
• Complete W-9 requests and credit applications.
• Complete various projects, tasks and financial analyses as requested.
• Interact with others in a positive, respectful, and considerate manner.
• Perform other job- related duties as assigned.
