Amentum is seeking a Software Developer Senior to join our team of passionate individuals in Washington, DC. In this role you will support challenging, mission‑critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead the efforts of: Design, develop, test, maintain and deploy new software applications
• Analyze and design new software solutions on user and technical requirements
• Develop software in the AWS cloud>
• Analyze existing architecture and new requirements and prepare technical recommendations
• Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Respond outside of core business hours to critical tickets and incidents related to the application
• Manage and mentor other development team members

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience
• Education:’s Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field
  • In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements

Clearance Required

• Top Secret with SCI eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this position is $180k to $185k . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
