Job Description

Description Develop, implement, and maintain food safety systems (HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, GMP, SOPs). Manage internal audits and coordinate third-party audits. Audit and approve co-packers, suppliers, and storage facilities. Oversee pest control programs and sanitation protocols. Verify product labeling and ingredients for regulatory compliance. Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints; implement corrective actions. Communicate with suppliers to obtain necessary documentation. Host inspections from USDA, FDA, and local health departments. Travel to branches and vendor sites across the U.S. to ensure quality standards. Record fish import summaries and report to NOAA. Apply for and renew all required certificates and registrations. Attend company events and participate in semiannual inventory counts. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
