Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to answer analytical questions critical to the success of our teams & our customers. 
• Design innovative analytic approaches to test hypotheses, extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured & unstructured data & develop recommendations to drive business performance thru developing dashboards to enable clear visibility into business performance.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques (core statistical-modeling, data visualization, data mining) to extract actionable insights through analysis of large-scale, high-dimensional data.
• Work with data engineers to ensure accurate & up-to-date data power each analysis.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Engineering or equivalent & 3 years of work experience driving business decisions with data-driven analyses.

Of experience required, must have 3 years of each of the following:

• deciphering & generating complex SQL queries using window functions, CTEs & aggregate functions;
• generating business insights using Tableau, or PowerBI;
• mining, validating & structuring disparate datasets within the big data eco-system;
• applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression & modeling to business problems; and
• translating data results in a non-technical format for written & oral presentations to business stakeholders

Work experience may be gained concurrently.

In interview setting, must pass company’s SQL, data visualization & business acumen test given to all applicants for position.

100% telecommuting permitted

Additional Information

Salary Range: $142,346.97 - $178,500.00
