Provide administrative and analytic support to the Regulatory Relations Team. This role primarily serves to schedule and support regulatory meetings, regulatory exams, and other functions of the Regulatory Relations Team. This role is expected and held accountable to add value, work efficiently and constantly strive to improve internal and external regulator experience. Ability to prioritize and organize work while being flexible and nimble enough to change with the needs of business is important. The Regulatory Relations Risk Analyst I must be able to quickly learn new tools and technologies, use professional media, digital platforms and the Internet to improve work efficiency, perform research and create documents and ongoing communications. Integrity, confidentiality, superior interpersonal skills, proactive, continuous improvement mindset, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills are some of the important competencies for the role. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment is necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Under supervision of the Regulatory Liaison, provides administrative meeting support to the Regulatory Relations Team to include planning, scheduling, maintaining and coordinating complex calendar of meetings and logistics, various system entries, tracking and meeting set up (venue/room set up, etc).
Creates reporting and performs analysis over meetings to identify improvement opportunities.
Primary point of contact for internal employees and external regulators for meeting scheduling. Performs quality assurance over meetings to ensure accuracy.
Manages and executes daily data and report transmissions to multiple regulatory agencies.
Performs quality assurance over transmissions to ensure accuracy, timeliness and identify improvement opportunities.
Partners with internal resources and regulators to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Assists Regulatory Relations Team with managing and dispositioning requests from regulators.
At the direction of Regulatory Liaison, provides support to Regulatory Exams.
Collects, compiles and analyzes basic data and information for various internal and external reporting purposes.
Prepares ad hoc reports and/or conducts analysis as needed.
Coordinates and assists team in testing for system and/or program enhancements.
Clearly and immediately communicates and elevates any problems/issues.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS
May prepare or coordinate the preparation of department procedures to ensure that all activities and reporting are well documented.
Participates in and volunteers for continuous improvement projects.
Manages and tracks projects for the team.
Provides back-up to other team members as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in business, finance, or equivalent work experience
Highly motivated and self-sufficient, requires minimal supervision
Relationship builder, works well with others
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at one time
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
Attention to detail
Analytic skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient to advanced skill set in using Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Internet and Intranet, including reporting and graphing data
Experience with videoconferencing platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom)
Takes initiative, confident and resourceful in problem solving, promptly escalating matters where necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in an administrative or analytic role or financial services industry
Relevant experience engaging with management
Experience with using GRC, Power PDF or other Adobe read/write tools
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $51,000.00 - $78,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
