Registered Nurse – Neonatal ICU (NICU)
Location: New York, NY 10029
Shift: Morning and Night shifts available
Schedule: 3 Days/Week | 11.5 Hours/Day | 34.5 Hours/Week
Compensation:

• Local Rate: $2,553/week

• Travel Rate: $2,993/week

Position Overview:

We are hiring a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at a premier healthcare facility in New York City. This role requires specialized knowledge in neonatal critical care and a strong foundation in maternal-child nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill newborns in a Level III or IV NICU setting

• Proficiently perform IV insertions and phlebotomy

• Administer and monitor conscious sedation as needed

• Collaborate with neonatologists, specialists, and interdisciplinary staff for coordinated, family-centered care

• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with hospital standards and safety regulations

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience, including:

  • Maternal-child nursing

  • IV insertion and phlebotomy

  • Conscious sedation procedures

• Demonstrated ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments

• Excellent clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)

• AHA BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)

• NRP Certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• Verified IV and phlebotomy proficiency
