Apple’s Pro Video Apps is seeking a Product Designer to enable editors and filmmakers to realize their creative vision, whether they’re making an online video or working on major pictures – and everything in between. You are a brilliant problem solver, self-starter, and excellent communicator with a passion for great design and the ability to achieve it. You possess a blend of interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills. You have a talent for simplifying complex, productivity workflows in ways that’s approachable for all users. From brainstorming through implementation, you will work with members of Apple’s Pro Video Apps, as well as our engineering, marketing, and QA groups. You have the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions. You're an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills. The Product Designer is a key player in resolving future design direction of Apple’s video capture and creation experiences. We are looking for a visionary designer who is ready to and capable of taking software design to the next level.

You will work alongside partners in design, engineering, marketing, and QA to craft and develop innovative features through thoughtful interaction design and nuanced visual design. Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms like iOS, macOS, or others
• Experience in shipping digital products from start to finish including the documentation and development process
• Ability to embrace and share diverse ideas within an inclusive and collaborative design team culture
• Proven product design experience delivery solutions for productivity and/or collaboration-focused apps

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated creative and innovative problem solving with a willingness to take the lead where needed
• Passion and keen eye for visual detail in proportion, type, motion, and interaction – while understanding system constraints
• Empathy and understanding of how to advocate for user experience with peer teams like engineering, QA, marketing, and more
• Passion for Apple, its products, and its customers.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
