Responsibilities:Position Summary:
 Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Clinical and Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of the pharmacy. This position serves as a liaison, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, hospital leadership, and clinical departments to promote safe high-quality care. The Clinical and Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the medication distribution processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and developing and implementing clinical initiatives that improve patient outcomes, while focusing on cost-effective pharmacy operations to maintain exceptional service standards in both clinical and operations. The manager leads a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the delivery of safe high-quality pharmaceutical and clinical care to patients. Additionally, the Clinical and Operations Manager will be involved in the recruitment, training, and performance management of pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with state (Ca BOP, CDPH), federal (DEA), and regulatory standards (Joint Commission, USP), and driving operational efficiencies utilizing pharmacy metrics (KPI) and development of standard work, enhancing the overall quality of pharmacy services. 
 Some of the key responsibilities include leading and managing day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient medication distributions and pharmacy workflows; developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state, federal, regulatory standards, and best practices; monitors pharmacy staff performance, providing ongoing education and training; lead quality improvement initiatives, oversee clinical pharmacy services, including drug therapy management and manage medication inventory.
