We are currently seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Clinical Specialist to join our Outpatient Therapy Department . This position is key to the success of our rehabilitation services by ensuring patients are welcomed, scheduled efficiently, and supported with the necessary administrative and clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing patient check-in and check-out processes.

• Scheduling therapy appointments and verifying insurance coverage.

• Obtaining and organizing referrals and related documentation.

• Providing professional and courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

• Performing clerical duties such as data entry, document handling, and phone communication.

Shift: 7am-3pm

This position reports directly to the Outpatient Therapy Supervisor , who reports to the Director of Outpatient Services .

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate’s or college degree preferred .

Experience:

• Experience with administrative and office organizational tasks is preferred .

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Competency in typing and use of computer systems .

• Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize work.

• Strong commitment to customer service , including interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors.

• Understanding of patient scheduling and basic medical terminology .

• Strong organization skills , including managing changing priorities and deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and phone etiquette .

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Sound common sense , logic , and the ability to adapt to varying tasks and schedules.

• Proficient in technology tools including word processing, data entry, and multi-line phone systems.

• Punctual, dependable, and flexible as needed.

Licensure, Registration, or Certification:

• None required.
