We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a seamless patient experience. Oversee fiscal management by developing budgets, monitoring expenses, and managing financial workflows related to billing, coding, and managed care reimbursements. Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development for medical administrative support personnel. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards to safeguard patient privacy and maintain accreditation requirements. Coordinate with clinical staff—nurses, physicians, dental practitioners—and support acute care or dental clinic operations to optimize workflow efficiency. Manage medical records and documentation accuracy while implementing best practices for medical terminology and record-keeping protocols. Oversee clinic compliance with healthcare regulations such as utilization management and hospital or veterinary experience standards where applicable. Facilitate communication between departments to improve clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and process improvements. Experience: Proven management experience in a medical office environment with a strong background in healthcare administration or clinic management. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms. Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, billing procedures, and managed care processes. Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, staff training, human resources practices, and operational oversight. Familiarity with medical terminology across various specialties including acute care or dental clinics is highly desirable. Experience working within healthcare regulations such as HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards is essential. Background in managing diverse healthcare teams in hospital or clinic settings with a commitment to quality improvement initiatives.
