Job Description

Woundlocal is seeking a talented and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in helping us with our graphic designing, which will be the primary focus of this position, along with building, managing and enhancing the technology that supports our innovative mobile wound care practice.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION! The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for taking on the projects involving graphic design and ensuring our high quality standards are met. You will be designing and collaborating with members of your team and third party members to produce and improve designs. This role will also be responsible for helping maintain the systems we use by providing supoprt for computer, software and processes.

The medical practice operates under 4 brands:

• Woundlocal , a mobile advanced wound care clinic serving patients throughout the state of Texas.
• DMElocal , a DME distributor serving patients throughout the state of Texas.
• HALO , a mobile transitional and complex care management clinic serving patients throughout the state of Texas.
• Mindi , a nationwide telehealth platform, sales channel, scheduler, and payment processor.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

• Creating designs using illustration, photo editing, and layout software
• Studying design briefs and determining requirements
• Advising on strategies to engage target audiences
• Helping make design choices, such as fonts and colors
• Identifying the best ways to illustrate and communicate our vision while complying with design best practices

IT Support:

• Support for computer, software and processes
• Support for EMR systems
• Support for Billing software and portals
• Assisting in collective IT tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or 2+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Punctuality and timeliness

Graphic Design:

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with publishing tools such as Canva or Photoshop
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Understanding of audience targeting

IT Support:

• Strong understanding of web security standards and best practices
• Strong understanding of Apple devices
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
