**Job Title: Floor Helper** **Job Description** The floor helper will be responsible for lifting and loading boxes, repackaging as needed. This role involves frequent lifting, crouching, moving, loading, sorting, and standing on your feet all day. Candidates must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds unassisted. **Responsibilities** + Lift and load boxes + Repackage and break down boxes as needed + Frequently lift, crouch, move, and sort items + Stand on feet for extended periods + Adhere to GMP and food safety standards **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and general labor + Ability to lift boxes and perform repetitive tasks + Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in a cold environment (35 F degrees) + Capability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, stoop, kneel, crouch, and smell as needed to perform the job + Monolingual (Spanish) is acceptable **Why Work Here?** This position offers a lot of overtime, especially during peak season, with the potential for 16-hour days, 6 days a week, and occasionally 7 days a week. There is an opportunity for yearly rehire after the seasonal work period. **Work Environment** The work environment is very cold (35 F degrees) and fast-paced, with close quarters alongside other packers. Tensions can run high, and adherence to GMP and food safety behavior is required. No piercings, jewelry, or excess makeup is allowed. PPE such as hair nets, smocks, and gloves will be provided. The standard working hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with lots of overtime available as production picks up. The position is seasonal until September, with the possibility of extension. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
