As an intern at GF, you'll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.Summary of Role: The project assignment for this role may be focused on streamlining processes, creating standardized reports and/or improving efficiency in our Malta, NY location. Routine tasks may be associated with running/publishing daily reports and reconciliations.Essential Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with finance teamsProvide formal weekly update to finance manager on progressAssist in audits while building relationships with other departmentsAssist in preparation of the company's financial statementsOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programsRequired Qualifications:Education - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
