Smart Systems, Real Impact From advanced HVAC automation to integrated energy management, your work will directly support the performance and sustainability of high-demand data centers across the globe.
How will you do it - Designs and configures are technically HVAC complex building control systems as defined by the contract documents.
- Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
- Develop and tests software programs necessary to operate the system per the project requirements' intent.
- Coordinates and creates necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
- Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects.
- Coordinates factory-mounting processes to meet factory and project schedule.
- Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.
- Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
- Provides field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
- Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
- Assists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.
- Participates in the release meeting with project field team.
- Performs value engineering to provide cost effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- May provide work directions to Systems Design Assistants.
- Adheres to safety standards.
- High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety
- Select, order, and track materials to align with aggressive project timelines and factory schedules.
Commission for Reliability - Lead the loading and commissioning of system and network-level controllers, validating full functionality under real-world conditions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with subcontractors and trades to ensure zero compromise on system integrity.
Document & Deliver - Provide accurate field change data for as-built documentation and software updates.
- Keep stakeholders informed with clear, proactive communication on progress, challenges, and milestones.
Empower the End User - Conduct site-specific training for data center operators, ensuring they're equipped to manage and maintain the control systems with confidence.
Optimize with Intelligence - Apply value engineering principles to deliver cost-effective solutions without sacrificing performance or reliability.
- Mentor Systems Design Assistants and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
