Jimmy John's is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Deli Slicer to join our team. As a Deli Slicer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional quality and taste to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate deli slicing equipment to prepare high-quality deli meats, cheeses, and other ingredients for sandwiches.
• Ensure precise slicing weight and uniformity to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of sliced meats and cheeses, and communicate replenishment needs to the management team.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet customer demands and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organized and stocked kitchen area.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including portion control and waste reduction.
• Uphold a positive and professional attitude while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deli Slicer or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.
• Strong knife skills and the ability to operate deli slicing equipment with precision.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy containers when necessary.
