Experience Level:
Senior level Chief Financial Officer with an estimated 5 - 10 years of experience in single family rentals (1-4 units), and related real estate experience. Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with knowledge of real estate accounting principles. Excellent judgment, attention to detail, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities; demonstrated ability to earn credibility and influence team members. Outstanding time management and organizational skills with an ability to multitask, prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, and track deliverables in a fast-paced environment. High-energy team player that is a self-starter that can work proactively with limited supervision. Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong ethics and integrity.
Responsibilities:
● Lead, empower, train, and support Client's current Director of Operations; oversee deliverables and keep activities on track● Provide portfolio management on existing portfolio and new assets into portfolio (looking to grow at 200 - 400 units per year)● Refine and implement team goals and objectives to maximize the long-term health of the portfolio and drive superior financial performance● Manage relationships with third-party management agents to meet goals, build annual budgets and oversee capital assessments and improvements● Oversee property performance, review financial statements, prepare quarterly forecasts and generate reports for senior leadership○ Ensure property management's KPIs are being met consistently● Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders● Oversee property and portfolio compliance
