Job Description

My Catering Group proudly operates food service venues within some of Canada’s most renowned cultural institutions: the Canadian Museum of History, the Canadian War Museum, and the Canadian Museum of Nature. Our mission is to provide fresh, high-quality food and outstanding customer service in vibrant, culturally rich environments.

Bilingual French and English is essential. Must be available to work weekends and holidays to be considered for the position.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Performing sale transactions
• Cleaning and resetting tables, removing dishes after customers leave
• Cleaning furniture, fixtures, and some equipment - maintaining order in the cafe
• Ensure the availability of clean dining materials
• Receiving deliveries
• Excellent communication with guests
• Restocking supplies as needed (coffee cups, cutlery, napkins, condiments, etc)
• Restocking beverages and food items.
• Emptying garbage and recycling bins as needed throughout and at the the end of daily service - includes patios during summer season

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a similar customer service role
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with handling cash transactions and using a POS system to process orders and payments accurately.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Bilingual in both French and English (required)
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate
• Smart Serve Certified (required)
