Position Overview

The Business Intelligence analyst will assist in collecting, managing, and analyzing data to yield insights that inform business strategies and operations. This position will work to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The primary goal of this position is to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and create a competitive edge for HorsePower Brands.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop Performance Metrics and Dashboards: Define metrics, create user-friendly dashboards, and deliver timely, accurate reports to support decision-making.
  • Manage Data Retrieval and Analysis: Coordinate data collection, ensure integrity, and analyze datasets to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Transform Data into Actionable Insights: Use analytical tools to interpret data, identify patterns, and provide impactful recommendations.
  • Monitor Trends and Develop Insights: Continuously review data to highlight trends, identify anomalies, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate With Stakeholders: Partner with teams to understand their analytical needs, design tailored solutions and align data efforts with organizational goals.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field - I.E, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration.
  • Minimum of one (1) or more years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or SQL) are a plus.
