Join Our Team as an Affordable Housing Compliance Manager!
RichSmith Management is excited to announce an opening for a Compliance Manager to join our expanding property management company. In this key role, you'll oversee the compliance process for all LIHTC and HUD files while leading a team of Compliance Specialists and Compliance Administrators . This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Property Management .

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management : Lead a team of Compliance Specialists and Administrators, providing guidance and ensuring high performance.
File Oversight : Oversee preapproval and final approval of all LIHTC and HUD files.
Compliance : Ensure adherence to federal and state regulatory guidelines, including file audits, state correspondence, and applicant certifications.
Recertifications : Manage the process for annual recertifications and maintain an organized tracking log.
File Audits : Perform quality checks and approve files completed by your team.
Rent Calculations : Assist with complex rent calculations for annual and interim recertifications.
Relationship Building : Maintain excellent relationships with residents, state agencies, investors/syndicators, and coworkers.
Budgeting : Create and manage the annual department operating budget, analyzing variances to ensure profitability.
EIV Coordination : Act as the EIV Coordinator, setting up EIV Users in Secure Systems to monitor income discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:
Affordable Housing Experience : Minimum of 5 years' experience in affordable property management, with knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and HUD programs.
OneSite Experience : Proficiency in OneSite is required. Experience with TRACS and EIV systems is preferred.
Microsoft Office Skills : Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with cloud-based systems like Office 365, Teams, and Zoom is highly desirable.
Customer Service Skills : Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships.
Highly Organized : Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Training : Coordinate training and certifications for Compliance Specialists.
