Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Actuarial Associate III!
About the role
The Benefits Actuarial department is looking for two actuaries to join the team! We are an inclusive and flexible team that values diverse experiences and backgrounds. Our area is responsible for the pricing, valuation, and risk management of our $1.6B book of group life, disability, supplemental health, and stop loss business. As a student in Benefits Actuarial, you will leverage your business knowledge and technical skills to advance our actuarial capabilities and output. These roles will be part of the Symetra Actuarial Student Program with exam support, mentoring, and opportunities to rotate throughout the company's actuarial departments.
Specific projects may include: developing new products and pricing based on market needs, enhancing existing products and pricing methodologies, improving our reserve and business modeling, and working with our business partners to improve our predictive and analytics tools. Compensation
Salary Range: $91,200 - $151,900 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
